Not every dog needs a full haircut every visit. A hygienic trim is the tidy up in between: the areas that get dirty, matted or uncomfortable, cleaned up without changing the shape of the coat. Oh My Boss Mobile Grooming does it at your door, in our self contained van.

What is a hygienic trim?

A hygienic trim is a bath plus a trim of the areas that affect comfort and cleanliness rather than the look: around the eyes and muzzle, the paw pads, the sanitary area and the belly line. It comes with the full bath, blow dry and brush out, plus nails and ears.

How is it different from a full haircut?

A full haircut restyles the whole coat. A hygienic trim leaves the length alone and only cleans up the practical areas. It suits dogs whose coat is in good shape but whose face is getting into their eyes, whose paws are slipping on the floor, or who need the sanitary area kept short between grooms.

Which dogs is it for?

It works for almost any coat, and it is especially useful for long haired breeds between full grooms, for older dogs that find a long session tiring, and for dogs who are nervous about clippers and do better with a shorter, quieter appointment.

How often should my dog have one?

Most dogs do well with a groom every four to eight weeks, and alternating a full haircut with a hygienic trim keeps the coat under control without cutting more than necessary. Coat type, how fast it grows and how much your dog is outside all change that, and the groomer can tell you what makes sense for your dog after the first visit.

What is mobile dog grooming?

Mobile dog grooming is a convenient service where our professional groomers come to your location in Orlando or any of 20+ surrounding cities in Central Florida, such as Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Clermont, Winter Garden and Apopka  in a fully equipped van. You never have to travel to a grooming salon: we groom your dog one-on-one, right in your driveway.

How do I schedule an appointment with your mobile grooming service?

You can book an appointment by calling, texting, or messaging us on WhatsApp at (407) 325-0203. We groom Monday to Saturday. How soon we can come depends on the week: sometimes we have a same-day opening, sometimes the next spot is a few days out, so there is no fixed waiting time. The earlier you get in touch, the better your chances of getting the exact day and time you want.

What services do you offer in a mobile grooming session?

We offer a range of services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and more, all in the comfort of our mobile grooming unit.

Do I need to provide anything for the grooming appointment?

We typically provide everything needed for the grooming session, but it is helpful if you have a suitable location for us to park the mobile unit. If it is your dog first visit with us, we will ask you to fill out a short form.

How much does mobile dog grooming cost?

Prices depend on the service and on your dog's size and coat. The Bath, which is brush out, bath, blow dry and ears, starts at $80. The Mini Groom adds a sanitary trim and a face trim, includes the nails, and starts at $100. A full haircut styled for your dog's breed starts at $120 and also includes the nails. Add ons like deshedding, teeth brushing or a flea and tick bath start at $10. Send us a message on WhatsApp with your dog's breed and we will give you an exact price.

Is mobile grooming suitable for all dog breeds and sizes?

Yes! Our vans are equipped to groom dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to big ones like Golden Retrievers and Labradors. That includes extra large breeds. We also take dogs that are nervous or hard to handle: we always try, calmly and without forcing. If the groom cannot be finished safely, we stop, bring your dog back to you, and there is no charge. The only dog we cannot groom is one that is sick. If you are not sure about your dog, just send us a quick message and we will let you know.

How long does a grooming session usually take?

The duration can vary depending on the size and breed of your dog, as well as the specific services requested. On average, it may take 1-2 hours.
